The Brussels regional government arrangements for summer 2009 are ambitious. They provide, in a period of 10 years, a dramatic increase in the number of public housing by a standard to be achieved within 10 years 15% of quality housing management service and social purposes . The calculation of the actual number of dwellings to create estimates vary widely (see etter November 2010). This letter is based on a number of 25,000 units. In these, he account was taken of housing provided by social housing agencies (AIS), even if not strictly housing management service, but it was not considered loans as they relate to housing buildings management totally private.
In this context, the current pace, it is clear that each month the ten-year objective will not be achieved unless a radical change in the pace of achievements.

Total housing project is around 4,500. But among them only about 900 are under construction. And unfortunately, as a construction is not started, the actual implementation of a project is (very) random. Below, only housing actually available are recognized: the sites, projects under public contract, ... are not included.
