I'll go Euromed Management in September, for the Bachelor cycle (cycle of the license) so I do not know what What really expect it. However, to pass oral examinations, one is obliged to look a minimum at the school. Then I'll make a small listing of what I know about my school (I Compleet later).
Note that Euromed Management is part of the common bank of test ECRICOME. This group of schools (6 total) consists of establishments of a very good level and are an important dynamic. The last to be returned (in 2007) is ESCEM Tours-Poitiers. ECRICOME had 10 years in 2008.
Euromed Management is one of the oldest of this group, it has enjoyed since 2006 of a surprisingly dynamic with a very active management team (which has just ejected a Director seriously and that sank in the early 2000s the attraction of this school ...). Its Committee of Directors is very innovative: it is composed of business leaders (the president of AXA France, ...) so that educational decisions snuff best match the needs of companies. The educational curriculum is one of the most innovative, too: The school has developed what it calls the "pedagogy of pro-act" that is, what are 6 action projects that we should realize (during the 3 years of study) from A to Z. it empowers the student, it gives added value because it has a experience to conduct a project, ...
This new formula has proven itself: the attraction of post-prepared candidates has increased steadily since 2006:
- SIGEM 2007 4750 candidates
- SIGEM 2008 5852 candidates
- SIGEM 2009 6563 candidates.
As you see, more than 1,000 applications additional year ...
Furthermore, the selectivity has been increasing: the bar for eligibility increased from 9.10 in 2006 to 9.55 in 2009 . And another clue: the rank of the last admitted increased from 1768 in 2008 ... 1363 in 2009! Evidence that the school attracts a lot more than before.
Regarding the employability of the Euromed students :
- average wage at exit: 41 K € (that's 2500 euros of net wholesale).
- 100% of students have a job after (maximum) 3 months .
- the biggest recruiters audit firms (E & Y, Deloitte, pwhc, ...) or so banks and big companies like Eurocopter and shipping companies.
Finally, school rankings by magazines ranks:
- 8th by Students, Expansion and Le Point.
- 10 th in academic rank, sixth (just before Audencia) the ranking relationship with business, rank eighth international openness, 23rd European Master according to the Financial Times.
That's basically what finally finds a magazine:
"The leaders. By far, two groups of schools that emerged, one consisting of five very large, which make up the leading group: HEC, ESSEC, ESCP-EAP, EM Lyon, EDHEC. In total, no fewer than 176 points separate the last of this group the first of the next group. As to the second group, the schools therein may, by contrast, appear almost equally given the small difference of points that separate each of their two closest rivals!
Four groups of schools. Allows a more detailed reading, however, identified four clusters of schools, like last year, but with a few transfers of a "chicken" to another.
- The leading group does not change,
- the second group is composed of seven institutions: Audencia, ESC Grenoble and Euromed Management and three schools Ecricome group: ESC Reims, Rouen and Toulouse, and finally, unprecedented event, a school that is recruiting at ferry IESEG, which closes this group of challengers. An institution that is now establishing itself as a serious competitor of large ESC.
- BEM Bordeaux opens the next group, the largest, consists of 15 schools that find themselves in a handkerchief, as the range between the first of the latest is only 94 points.
- The last group comprises nine schools totaling 205 points or less. "
